Frequently Asked Questions
Will we be sharing the property or the house with anyone else during our stay?
Not at all. When you book Myalla, you have exclusive access to the entire 600-acre estate and the sandstone homestead. Unlike many farm stays, we do not take multiple bookings at once; whether you are a couple on a romantic retreat or a group of ten, the house, tennis court, and fire pit are yours and yours alone for the duration of your stay.
Is the property actually "luxurious," or is it just a standard farmhouse?
Myalla is a premium sandstone property curated specifically for comfort and style. The homestead features high-end amenities including a chef’s kitchen with an induction cooker, two modern bathrooms and designer furniture. To ensure a sophisticated atmosphere, the living areas are also decorated with original sculptures and paintings by renowned Australian artists Karen Bloomfield and Leasha Craig.
We are planning a double date; is there enough privacy for multiple couples?
Absolutely. The house is designed with a spacious layout that allows for both connection and privacy. With four beautifully styled bedrooms, including three queen-size beds, and every room opening directly onto the wrap-around veranda, couples can enjoy their own space and fresh valley air before gathering in the open-plan living areas or at the fire pit.
How long is the drive from Sydney, and is the road accessible for all vehicles?
Myalla is an easy and scenic three-hour drive from Sydney. The roads leading to the property are in excellent condition and fully sealed, making the trip smooth and straightforward for any vehicle type. You’ll spend less time navigating and more time unwinding in the valley.
